School Calendar, Staffing and Courses of Study
The Superintendent of Schools shall make recommendations on the appointment of administrators, teachers, and all other employees of the district, and on the courses of study to be taught. He/she shall annually prepare a school-year calendar for Board of Education review and action, at the regular March meeting. Such proposed calendar shall include the necessary student and staff attendance days to meet all New York State Education Department requirements.
