Our doors open for students at 8:40 a.m. At this time, bus riders and walkers are welcomed into the building to begin the day. Students are not allowed in the building before this time. Students are expected to be in their classrooms by 8:50 a.m. Anyone arriving after this time must sign in at the office. Special area classes begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. At 3:10 p.m. we begin dismissal. Any child who is being picked up is signed out by a staff member in the back of the building near the grade four wing (use the old Niskayuna Rd. entrance) where their parents wait outside. Our dismissal order is as follows: Town of Colonie After Care Program, parent pick-ups, walkers and bus riders. Any changes in dismissal plan must be reported to the office by 2:00. You must park in the rear lot if you are picking up your child at dismissal or dropping off in the morning and then proceed to the main entrance.
