Dear North Colonie families and community members,
I am pleased to share with you that the school year is off to a great start, given the extraordinary circumstances that we faced with reopening.
I am writing to let you know that our school playgrounds are open to the community when school is not in session. However, the following protocols must be followed when using our playgrounds:
- Please avoid gatherings and crowds of people in the area of the playground. The district must follow guidance to avoid large gatherings of individuals on our school grounds.
- Masks must be worn at all times.
- Please adhere to the social distancing guidelines (minimum of six feet) when using the playground.
- Individuals are encouraged to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before and after using any playground equipment.
Thank you for your cooperation in using our playgrounds. I hope the nice weather continues and they can be utilized well into October.
