Shaker High School PTSA

The Shaker High School PTSA’s main goal is to support our school and the students while providing opportunities for student leadership development in the following areas:

community service
gratitude
charity

We host celebrations for high school classes, as well as Teacher/Staff Appreciation luncheons. Your ideas and input are greatly appreciated during our meetings and we hope to see you there!

PTSA Meetings

All general PTSA meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. The location for meetings is still to be determined for the upcoming 2023-24 school year. The meeting dates for this school year are as follows:

September 19
November 14
February 6
May 7

How to Join

The cost is $10 per member and any family member, community member and student can join. We strongly encourage students to join and attend meetings on a regular basis to give a voice to their experiences and needs.

You are able to enroll online, but please note that you will pay a fee of about $0.85 for online enrollment.

Special Education Parent-Teacher Association

The North Colonie Special Education PTA was chartered on January 15, 2008, with 31 members. The North Colonie Special Education PTA is the first of its kind in our region. It serves special education and gifted students in grades preK–12. New members are welcome to join by attending upcoming meetings or by contacting the president.
