Russian Program Donates 1,430 Pounds of Food to Regional Food Bank

Every year, the Shaker Russian program collects and donates food items for the Regional Food Bank in Latham and this year they outdid themselves! This year, Russian Club along with other Russian students, collected more than 1,430 pounds of food. Some of the seniors delivered the big donation on Tuesday, December 18th. Talk about the spirit of giving! What a great way to help out our neighbors in need during the holiday season.
