8130, Emergency Plans

The Superintendent of Schools shall develop a school emergency management plan in compliance with Section 155.13 Regulations of the Commissioner of Education.

In this action the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent to cooperate fully with local and state authorities in the development and implementation of the emergency management plan.

The Superintendent is to provide such plan to the Board for approval in time to ensure that it will be in place, reviewed, and, if appropriate, modified each year by November 1.

The Superintendent is to ensure that copies of the plan are available for public inspection.
