7350, Site Acquisition

When the long-range need for an additional school site(s) is identified, the Superintendent of Schools shall recommend that a Board of Education sub-committee be appointed to work on site selection and acquisition. The sub-committee shall be responsible for recommending an appropriate site(s), options on such site(s), and the method of financing the site(s) acquisition.

Prior to actual acquisition, the selected site must be approved by the Commissioner of Education.
