4313, Procedures for Excusing Pupils from Physical Education and/or Outdoor Activities

The principal, or his or her designee, shall excuse pupils from participating in physical education and/or outdoor activities for up to five days upon the request of the parents. After five school days, a physician’s certificate will be required.

The principal shall exercise his or her judgement in determining when children will go out on the playground in light of existing weather conditions.
