Chromebook pick up for Grades K-2

Dear K-2 Parents and Guardians,

In order to limit the sharing of devices among students and provide greater flexibility during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be expanding our Chromebook 1:1 program to include all students in grades K-12.

There is no cost to families for the program unless the device is damaged, lost, or stolen. However, the District does provide an optional Chromebook Care Protection Plan that will cover your student’s first incident of accidental damage, loss, or theft during the school year.

    • The cost of the plan is normally $20, but the fee is waived for grades K-2 during the 2020-21 school year.
    • Detailed information regarding the protection plan can be found here.

To learn more about using Chromebooks in the district, visit the Chromebook Parent FAQ.

If your student borrowed a loaner Chromebook during the COVID closure this spring, you do not need to pick up another one. Please keep the one you are already assigned.
