North Colonie Central School District is in! In honor of South Colonie CSD celebrating 20 years of Toys for Tots collection drives, North Colonie has joined as one of 20 community partners for their “20 for 20” campaign. The campaign aims to support the largest collection effort to date, inviting our school communities to put friendly crosstown rivalries aside and collect toys to make the holidays brighter for local children.

On Friday, September 25, Shaker will host the Colonie football team at Shaker High School. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. The collection and spirit of the generosity will continue throughout the fall sports season, as each Shaker vs. Colonie match will be Toys for Tots Games. Community members and fans are invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the following games:

• Friday, September 25 – Varsity Football

• Monday, October 5 – Girls Tennis

• Tuesday, October 6 – Boys Soccer, Girls Volleyball, Girls Soccer

• Friday, October 9 – Field Hockey

• Wednesday, October 28 – Boys Volleyball
