A record number of eight new members were inducted into the Shaker High School Alumni Hall of Fame on Monday, June 15. The event took place at SHS, giving alumni and their families a chance to revisit the halls of their alma mater, while enjoying some treats and beverages from the Shaker Middle School Bison Brew.

The ceremony opened with a welcome from Superintendent of Schools Kathleen Skeals and opening remarks from SHS Principal Marcus Puccioni. Following this, Puccioni welcomed SHS Student Board of Finance Members Maisha Azmir, Chinmayi Sri Maddali, and Chloe Li, who then introduced the Shaker Select chorus, led by Amy Kimbler. Azmir, Maddali, and Li took turns reading the biography of each of the inducted alumni, sharing with the audience their accomplishments. Following this, each member reflected on their life, careers, and their time at Shaker.
