The Senior Capstone Engineering team of Andrew Church and Ethan Valente have been selected as finalists in the Thomas Edison Pitch Contest.
Andrew and Ethan travel to the Thomas Edison National Historic Park in New Jersey May 17 to present to a panel of expert judges, said Eric Phillips, supervisor of Career and Technical Education.
The Thomas Edison Pitch Contest was created in 2010 as a competition to showcase and encourage invention, innovation and entrepreneurship among students before they get to college. Every year, students submit their great ideas to win prizes and gain the hands-on experience exclusive to this contest.
