Rising SHS sophomore Lucas Zhang will be competing in the AAU National Karate Tournament in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from July 4-8. After that, he will represent Team USA at the 11th WUKF World Karate Championships in Dundee, Scotland from July 10-17.
Lucas is a black belt in karate, multiple AAU National Karate Champion and silver medalist in Kata at the 10th WUKF World Championships in 2022. He is also on the SHS baseball team during his freshman year.
