Shaker High School engineering classes garner great results at Model Bridge Contest

The Shaker High School Engineering classes had their best results ever at the 2022 High School Model Bridge Contest that was held in February during as part of the Capital District 42 Annual Celebration of Engineers Week.  Shaker High School led all schools with an Average Load total of 273.29 pounds held. Aarya Tyagi & Ryan Martinkat won first place with a 2.71 Maximum Efficiency

Jason Zhang & Saurav Baudekar came in second place with a 2.28 Maximum Efficiency

Maximum Load

Ani Gregon Asadourian & Noa Wacholder won first place with a Max Load held of 563 pounds. This total is the most ever in the past 39 years of the competition!!!

Jason Zhang & Saurav Baudekar came in third place with a Max Load held of 431 pounds.

Aesthetics

Andrew Church and Ryan Murphy placed second for Aesthetics.
