A Message from Superintendent Corr, April 1

April 1, 2022

Dear North Colonie Families:

Today authorities held a press conference in Lee, Massachusetts regarding missing Shaker High School English Teacher Meghan Marohn.

There are no new developments and police continue to search for Ms. Marohn. Authorities ask anyone with information to please contact the Lee Police at (413) 243-5530, Bethlehem Police at (518) 439-9973 or call 911.

We know this is an incredibly stressful time for North Colonie students, families, and staff.

We continue to keep Ms. Marohn and her family in our hearts and minds. She is a valued and loved member of our school community.

Please know that if you need support over the weekend, resources are available. We encourage you to reach out to Albany County Mental Health at 518-447-4555 or Mobile Crisis at 518-292-5499.

Counselors, social workers, and psychologists will continue to be available to assist any student in need.

We will continue to share information with the North Colonie school community as appropriate.

Sincerely,

D. Joseph Corr

Superintendent
