Latham Ridge 5th graders collected nearly 2,500 items for the district’s Backpack Program as part of a celebration of their 1,000th day in elementary school!
The original goal for 5th graders at Latham Ridge was to collect 1,000 items for their 1,000th day. But they smashed past that goal and collected 2,462 food and hygiene items for the North Colonie Backpack program. The collection drive was titled “Small Acts, Big Change,” and it certainly lived up to its name!
