We are planning to return to fully in person learning on Monday, Jan. 3. Throughout the holiday break, we will be monitoring cases and quarantines.
Out of an abundance of caution, we ask that you please have your child(ren) bring their Chromebooks, chargers, and schoolwork home in case we have a need to announce a remote plan for any schools.
If there are any situations where staffing shortages make it difficult to be in person, we will implement a targeted, temporary remote schooling measure. With this approach, we may have to announce that one school is switching to remote, but others can remain open.
Should any schools need to be remote, we will keep the same daily schedule as those days will only be temporary and we want to keep student schedules consistent.
Again, this communication should NOT be interpreted as the district planning to go remote after Winter Recess. As we have learned, the impacts of COVID-19 can be unpredictable, and we do our best to be prepared.
