Update from the superintendent – Thursday, April 16

Dear North Colonie Families,

Earlier today, Governor Andrew Cuomo extended school closures through Friday, May 15. As promised, we wanted to keep you informed of the latest update. 

We will continue to provide meals for families and remote instruction for students through the duration of the closure. More information can be found on our district website.

Innovation Google Classroom for K-5 Students

The district has developed innovation Google Classrooms for K-5 students. Students should visit Google Classroom and enter the classroom code. The K-2 code is slkqyk4. The 3-5 code is vja5z5e. 

Meteorology Facebook Live with Jason Gough

Do you have any questions about weather or meteorology? Tune in to Jason Gough’s Facebook Live this Friday, April 17 at 2 p.m. and he will answer them. You can also send an email with your questions ahead of time to jason@jasonsweather.com.

June SAT Canceled

To keep students safe, and in alignment with public health guidance and school closures across 192 countries, the College Board has announced it will not be able to administer the SAT or SAT Subject Tests on June 6, 2020. For more information, please visit the College Board website for updates.
