Two SHS students honored as Outstanding Business Education Students of the Year

The Business Education Department would like to congratulate both Jack Cheney and Nikhil Mehta for being recognized as the 2018-2019 Outstanding Business Education Students Of The Year. This honor was awarded to Jack and Nikhil not only for their academic achievement, but also for their outstanding citizenship and positive attitude.

Nikhil, his parents, and teachers, Mrs. Shipley and Ms. Squadere, attended an awards dinner last week at The Century House where Nikhil along with students from area schools were recognized as outstanding business students. Nikhil Mehta was also recognized as the Capital Region’s Outstanding Business Student of the Year. Nikhil will receive a $1,000 scholarship from The Business and Marketing Educators’ Association of the Capital District.

Congratulations to Jack and Nikhil from all the teachers in the business department and Shaker High School community.
