Student death

The North Colonie Central School District extends its condolences to the family and friends of Christian Walsh who has passed away suddenly. Christian had just completed his freshman year at Shaker High School. While the majority of students are on summer break right now, we know the news of Christian’s passing will be difficult for some to process. Counseling and support for our students will be available tomorrow, July 9 at the high school if anyone feels he or she needs someone to talk to.
