Southgate School Kicks Off a New Year

Southgate started the new school year with an assembly with guest Jared Campbell, a musician with a positive presentation about friendship, responsibility and initiative. He reminded students that we are all a “one-school community”, and we treat each other with respect. He also reminded students that they can do and be anything they wish if they persevere.

Classes were paired with buddy classes (older with younger) to start getting to know each other. They then headed to the gymnasium together to enjoy the interactive music-oriented assembly.

We’re off to a great start to the year!
