Smart Schools Investment Plan Feedback Requested

The Smart Schools Bond Act was approved by voters in New York State in November 2014 with the objective of improving educational technology & infrastructure. There is no time limit for spending the district’s allocation as it can be spread out over several years. North Colonie was originally allocated $1,838,380 through the Smart Schools Bond Act.

On April 25, 2017, the North Colonie Board of Education approved Phase 2 of the district’s Smart Schools Preliminary Investment Plan. That preliminary investment plan was outlined in a presentation to the school board. View presentation
