SJHS Principal Dr. Russell Moore to retire in December

Dear Members of the North Colonie Community,

After more than 30 years of dedicated service to the North Colonie Central School District, Shaker Junior High School Principal Dr. Russell Moore has announced that he will be retiring at the end of the calendar year. We are all deeply appreciative of his service, and while we all wish him well, we will certainly miss him.

As we have done in the past, we have formed a committee comprised of parents, teachers, students, administrators, coaches, and staff members to help us identify the best possible person to replace Dr. Moore. We would, however, like to solicit input from more people than we could realistically have on an interview committee. We are asking you to take a few moments of your time to complete a survey regarding the characteristics you would hope to see in the next building principal.  The survey should take no more than ten minutes, and your input will be invaluable as we move forward in the selection process.
