If you need to learn a thing or two about the stock market, Loudonville 6th grader Aden Siegfeld may be the one to ask! Aden won the top spot in NYS for the 2017-18 Stock Market Game, beating 1,600 other teams. For 12 weeks, Aden, who was in Michael Springstead’s class, bought and sold stocks everyday with a mock $100,000. Springstead offers a little bit of guidance throughout the process and encourages parent input, but ultimately lets the students have fun and learn. This is the 20th year Loudonville students have participated in the Stock Market Game, which was developed on the principle of “virtual investing, real-world learning.”
