SHS & SMS Families: Invite to Register for Online Safety Session in SCCSD

North Colonie CSD parents, guardians, and students in grades 7-12 are welcome to attend an in-person online safety session Thursday, March 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Colonie Central High School.

FBI internet safety class promotional graphicSouth Colonie Central School District is partnering with the FBI to host an informational session for parents and students on the increasingly rising issues of online safety, security, and sextortion.
The presentations will be led by members of the FBI’s child exploitation and human trafficking task force and Adam Morris, PhD, a child psychologist from the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital, part of the Albany Med Health System.

In the interest of planning, adults interested in participating are asked to fill out the Online Safety Presentation Form in advance. Information collected will be used to distribute materials and resources following the session.
