SHS senior Aaliyah Hussain named SHS Good Citizen for 2019-20

The Mohawk Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) recently announced that Shaker High School senior Aaliyah Hussain was selected as the SHS Good Citizen for 2019-2020. The National Society of DAR sponsors this annual award to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship among high school seniors. The qualities include outstanding dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.

Aaliyah will be recognized for her achievements at an awards ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Pruyn House in Latham.
