Instant Admit Day – Thursday, November 15, 2018

Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) and Schenectady County Community College (SCCC) are offering Shaker students a chance to apply to their respective schools free of charge. On Thursday, November 15th, representatives from both colleges will be on hand to interview students and review applications. Students will receive a decision on the spot and have the application fee waived. To participate in Instant Admit Day for HVCC, students must complete an online application and return the Instruction Sheet & Acknowledgement Page to the School Counseling Office by Friday, November 2nd.  Application Instruction sheets are available in the School Counseling Office and online as a link on the home page of Naviance. Students interested in SCCC will need to complete a paper application (available in the Counseling Center or online). Students who complete the application process will receive an appointment time on November 15th to meet with a representative. At the appointment, students can discuss the program they are interested in and receive instructions about next steps to take should they decide to enroll.

Any student considering HVCC or SCCC should take advantage of this special opportunity.
