Shaker Football earns two All-State selections, two honorable mentions

After an undefeated regular season and a trip to the state semi-finals, four members of the Shaker Blue Bison football team were awarded Large School Class AA All-State or Honorable Mention distinction by the New York State Sportswriter’s Association.

Senior running back Logan Souza earned a Fourth Team All-State offensive selection as an all-purpose back. Senior Joe Toutai earned a Fifth Team All-State defensive selection as a defensive lineman.

Junior linebacker Nate Ratigan earned an Honorable Mention for his efforts this season, as did senior defensive back Shane Lavender.
