All parents/guardians will have the right to obtain Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR) quality ratings and composite effectiveness scores for their child’s current year’s teacher(s) and principal(s) once the scores are officially available and in accordance with state law. North Colonie plans to provide parents with the scores beginning on October 17, the date by which the final scores are due to New York State.
Parents have been notified via a letter from Superintendent Joseph Corr that they have a right to request teacher or principal composite scores (out of 100) and overall effectiveness ratings. They may only request the scores for their child’s current (2014—2015) school year teacher/principal.
