Parent program “Social Media and Phones: Navigating it All” to take place Nov. 13

Learn about appropriate and responsible uses of social media!

The program will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Shaker Jr. High School Assembly Room

Together with investigators from the Colonie Police Department, we will show you the basics of how your kids are using social media. The program will discuss:

• Opening the Lines of Communication
• Setting Boundaries
• Teaching Kids to Be Appropriate & Responsible
• Navigating Social Media

Topics will be relevant to parents of students in grades 5-12.
