We have had tremendous response from parents to sign up for a Parent Portal account and/or to register a valid email address with our district. As we’ve mentioned many times, as like most organizations and businesses, more and more of our communication is completed via electronic means. Teachers’ grades, attendance data, assessment scores, report cards, etc. are accessible via the Parent Portal. We send many messages via IC Messenger, but we can only send the messages to valid email addresses.

Shaker Junior High School has a high percentage of parents who are “connected” to us electronically, and we’d like to reach 100%.
To sign up for a Parent Portal account, stop by the main office or call us with a valid email address if we don’t have one on file. We want to be able to communicate effectively with all of our families!
