North Colonie named Best Community for Music Education

North Colonie has been selected as a Best Community for Music Education for the eighth consecutive year, a prestigious award presented by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation. 

The NAMM award program recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of the curriculum.  Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.

“I am proud of this recognition of the daily instruction and inspiration that our music teachers provide for the children of North Colonie,” said Deb Keough, North Colonie’s Music Department Supervisor. “It is a distinct honor to lead this outstanding department of dedicated and talented professionals.”
