North Colonie hosting a free social media safety event

The North Colonie Central School District presents “Social Media and Your Children: What You Need to Know”, a FREE event in conjunction with the Colonie Police Department on November 13 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Shaker Junior High School Auditorium. How can you help keep your children safe online? What warning signs should you be looking for? How much access to their social media accounts is too much?

This parent program is for adults only, babysitting will be available.
