NC students take summer learning on the road

We are so happy our summer learning opportunities have reached so many of our students this year!

Our English as a New Language (ENL) students have been out exploring and learning – visiting Peebles Island State Park, the Five Rivers Environmental Center, and the New York State Museum.

While at Five Rivers, students took a hike around the pond after an orientation at the visitor center. At Peebles Park, students spied a few deer, herons, critters, perfectly woven webs, and more! While standing at the intersection of the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers, students learned how the intersection of the rivers was critical for travel many years ago and how it remains useful today.

Our thanks to STEAM teachers, the variety of aides, and our bus drivers who are helping make these field trips possible.
