NC administrators Innovation Spaces presentation at the NYSCOSS Winter Conference

North Colonie administrators and teachers presented at the New York State Council of School Superintendents (NYSCOSS) Winter Conference earlier this month about the Innovation Spaces.

As soon as he heard the theme for the New York State Council of School Superintendents Winter Institute, “Creating A Culture of Imagination and Innovation,”  Superintendent D. Joseph Corr knew that his North Colonie team could offer valuable information about the district’s new innovation spaces.

Alongside specialists from CSArch, the North Colonie team presented “When Form Meets Function: Fostering Innovation Through the Built Environment” to a group of superintendents from across the state.

Focusing on the vision and the design process for the project, the team conveyed how the spaces were built from the ground up and how they are currently empowering our students through engagement and connection.

As a result of the team’s presentation, several superintendents have asked Mr. Corr about touring the innovation spaces.
