Boght Hills students and staff celebrated Flag Day, Mrs. LaRow’s 42 years of service, the school’s 60th birthday and the end of the school year with multiple festivities during its June Jamboree. Click here for photos of the event.
The day began with a flag raising ceremony. The flag had previously flown in Washington D.C. at the capitol, and will be presented to Mrs. LaRow on the occasion of her retirement this month. Students celebrated the school’s 60th birthday and the end of another school year with many activities including Tug of War, Hoops for Heart, dance fun and many other activities.
The day culminated with the entire student body presenting Mrs. LaRow with some gifts and a “Boght Hills Dance Party” send-off, complete with choreography! Click here to watch the video.
Thank you to all the staff and parents who planned, volunteered and supported the day; a great time was had by all!
