January 2019 Midterm Exams

This school year, January 28th will be the first day of the second semester and 3rd quarter.  For the midterm schedule, January 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th will be block scheduled for midterm exams.  Friday, January 18th will be a regular 7 period instructional day of classes before the January Regents.  It will also serve as a snow day for the Block Exam Days.

The four Block days prior to Regents Exam Week will have double periods. This means that the periods will be twice as long and only four (4) classes will be meeting per day. All students are required to attend school during the In-Class Testing Days, as these are days of instruction. Students will only attend school during the Regents Week Testing Days if they have a scheduled exam.

If there is a snow day on 1/22, 1/23, or 1/24, that missed Regents Week Testing Day will move to 1/25.

Please see the midterm schedule below. If your child has any questions about the schedule, please have them speak to one of their teachers or hall administrators.

If you have questions please feel free to contact Principal Murphy.  Also, please remember that if your child is absent on the day of an exam, documentation from a doctor will be required before that exam can be made up. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
