This morning, a fire alarm was tripped at Shaker High School. As is normal emergency procedure, the fire department responded to the building. As it turns out, there was no fire emergency, and students are continuing their normal day. However, the emergency response cause increased traffic congestion on Route 155 and other roads near Shaker High School, which caused some delays for people traveling during that time. The situation has been resolved, and the school day is continuing as scheduled. We thank the fire department for their quick response and their help in keeping our students safe.
