Congratulations to our Fall 2020 Athletes of the Week for Week 7! This week, we honor Lily Phelps and Regan Doherty from the girls varsity tennis team.
While playing Bethlehem, with the match tied 4-4 after two hours of play, Lily and Regan lost the first set 6-4. Then, they were trailing in the second set 2-0 when they rallied to take the set 6-4. The duo then played a match play tie-break (first team to 10 by a margin of 2) and fell behind 8-5. Lily and Regan rallied once again, winning five consecutive points to take their match and give Shaker the overall team match, 5-4.
