Event highlights substance abuse and students

On Thursday, October 25th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the Shaker Junior High School Auditorium, the North Colonie Central School District will present the event “Substance Abuse and our Young People”. The evening program is for parents of students K-12 and covers vaping, marijuana, prescription drugs, and more. The program features Anne Lawton, RN, from St. Peter’s Health Partners and Jennifer Vitkus, M.Ed., from The Addictions Care Center of Albany.
