District Statement on Friday morning’s bus accident

At approximately 6:35 a.m., a North Colonie Central School District bus with 19 students and a driver on board was struck by another car at the intersection of Old Loudon Road and Route 2. Damage to the bus was minimal, and a school nurse checked out students at the scene before the students were transferred to another bus and continued on to school. There were no injuries to students. Parents of the students involved were notified by the school. Any further questions on the accident should be directed to the Colonie Police Department.
