Casey Bardin named new Assistant Director of Pupil Services

Mr. Barding with tie and suit in libraryDuring the September 24 Board of Education meeting, Mr. Casey Bardin was appointed as the new Assistant Director of Pupil Services. The Assistant Director Of Pupil Services will be reporting directly to the Director of Pupil Services. Mr. Bardin will work with building administrators and supervisor of other related services such as School Psychologist, Speech Therapist and Physical Therapist to ensure the district’s programs meet the needs of our students.

Mr. Bardin has been with the North Colonie Central School District since 2014 as the Supervisor of Special Education at Shaker High School. He was instrumental in developing the unified basketball team as well as reinventing the Goodrich program. He has worked significantly with outside agencies including Siena College, to provide experiences that are meaningful for our special education students. Prior to his work at North Colonie, he was an Assistant Principal at Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District.

“I am looking forward to working alongside our school leaders and staff throughout the district to continue to grow and move our programs forward, and better meet the ever-changing needs of our students,” said Mr. Bardin.

“I am confident that Mr. Bardin’s excellent work will continue in the role of Assistant Director of Pupil Services and will do an outstanding job of continuing to grow our special education department,” said Superintendent Joseph Corr.
