North Colonie Kids Care: This month’s recipient is Bella Miller a Shaker High School Senior.
The Superintendent recognized the following:
Each month the Board recognizes those students whose contributions or achievements are outstanding, employees who go beyond the call of duty, and community members whose generosity is greatly appreciated. This month, we are pleased to recognize:
- Faculty and Staff
- Shaker High School staff for the use of the auditorium by the Town of Colonie Police Department for their 2022 Annual Awards Ceremony.
- Students
- Eight Shaker Middle School students and one Shaker High School student selected for the New York State Band Directors Association Middle School and High School, All-State Honor Bands, which will perform in Liverpool, NY in March 2023: Regan Doherty, Adam Judson, Sophie Freed, Gaven Li, Sophia Hu, Ethan Filippelli, Greyson Famoso, Luqman Ahmed,and Christina Zhang.
- Twenty-nine Shaker High School students selected to perform with the NYSSMA Area All-State Music Festival on November 18-19, 2022.
