Kindergarten

Please label ALL supplies with your student’s full name

  • Crayola crayons – 3 boxes of 24-count
  • Crayola colored pencils – 1 box of 12-count
  • Crayola washable markers – 1 box of 10-count
  • Dry erase markers – 2 packs
  • Glue sticks – 6 
  • Fiskars Kids Blunt Tip scissors – 1 pair
  • White polymer erasers – 1 package of at least 2 erasers
  • Pencil box – 1 plastic, approximately 8-1/2 inches x 5-1/2 inches
  • Wet wipes (child friendly) – 1 large container
  • Tissues – 2 boxes
  • Resealable plastic bags – 1 box (last name A-M sandwich; last name N-Z quart)
  • Headphones – 1 set in resealable bag with full name on it (please NO earbuds!)

1st Grade

PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL ITEMS ARE CLEARLY LABELED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME

  • 1 large backpack
  • 3 PLAIN pocket folders
  • 1 clear plastic zipper envelope (8”x10 or larger)
  • 1 hard shell pencil/supply box (approx. 8” x 4”)
  • 1 box of #2 pencils with erasers
  • 2 large block erasers (for erasing pencil marks) box of 24 Crayola crayons
  • 1 box of washable markers
  • 4 expo markers
  • 2 marble notebooks (hardcover)
  • (Ms. Doolittle’s class 3 marble notebooks)
  • 10- 12 glue sticks
  • 1 pair scissors
  • 1 old clean sock (to be used as an eraser)
  • 1 box of Kleenex
  • 1 set of headphones (NOT EARBUDS) placed in a Ziploc bag with full name on it

2nd Grade

Please label ALL supplies with your student’s full name

  • 1 set of earbuds or headphones. Place in Ziploc bag labeled with full name.
  • 2 boxes of #2 pencils (Ticonderoga if possible)
  • Pencil case – zipper kind works the best (not a box)
  • Crayons (box of 24) – please put crayons in a Ziploc bag
  • 2 wide ruled, single subject spiral notebooks
  • 2 Packages of 3 x 3 Post-It-Notes – yellow
  • Book bag – (must fit inside a locker, so bags on wheels are not an option).
  • 4 PLASTIC “2-pocket” without clasp folder-any color
  • 3 Expo Dry Erase Markers (black)
  • 1 box of tissues to be shared with the rest of the class
  • Smock (or old tee-shirt) for art
  • 4 glue sticks (Elmer’s)
  • 1 pair of scissors

Summer Homework: Please learn to tie your shoes if you cannot do this already. It is an expectation that students entering 2nd grade can tie their own shoes.

3rd Grade

  • 5 Marble composition notebooks (wide ruled ONLY; no spiral bound notebooks)
  • 6 durable plastic folders with pockets: red, orange, green, blue, purple, and one color of your choice (plastic folders with pockets on the bottom)
  • 1 pencil pouch or storage case to hold supplies
  • 3 dozen pencils (sharpened, if possible)
  • 6 glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • 1 highlighter
  • 1 blue pen
  • 1 red pen
  • dry erase markers
              • at least 1 thick and 1 thin
  • 1 pair of old socks
  • 1 box of tissues
  • Crayons (16-24 pack)
  • Markers (standard size, 10 count pack)
  • 1 package (3-pack) rubber erasers (Paper Mate, Pink Pearl, etc.)
  • Hand held pencil sharpener
  • 1 container of antibacterial wipes
  • Headphones or earbuds (placed in a Ziploc bag with full name on it)
  • Boys: Ziploc bags, quart or sandwich size
  • Girls: Loose Leaf paper, wide rule

4th Grade

  • 2 packages of #2 pencils, sharpened if possible
  • 2 boxes of tissues1 container of Clorox wipes
  • 1 smock or old shirt for art
  • 1 package (3-pack) rubber erasers (Paper Mate, Pink Pearl, etc.)
  • 1 box of crayons (16-24 pack) OR colored pencils (No markers, please)
  • 3 highlighters
  • 1 small pack of Expo dry erase markers
  • 1 sock OR White Board eraser
  • Scissors
  • 4 packages of glue sticks
  • 4 composition notebooks
  • 5 sturdy cardboard folders, hole-punched (with pockets on the bottom, not sides), no fasteners
  • 1″ hardcover binder (no trapper keepers please)
  • Small soft pencil pouch for pens and pencils (no boxes please)
  • 1 set of earbuds or headphones (placed in a Ziploc bag with full name on it)
  • Students do not need an assignment pad. Each student will receive a Boght Hills School Planner

Our desks are small, so students SHOULD NOT bring in any extra supplies. Thank you for planning ahead. We are looking forward to seeing all of you in September!

 

5th Grade

Please label supplies with your student’s full name!

  • 1 composition notebook (green)
  • 1 one-subject spiral notebook (red)
  • 1 three-subject spiral notebook (blue)
  • 5 two-pocket f ciders: (1 blue, 1 green, 1 red, 1 yellow, 1 student choice)
  • 12 #2-pencils (ongoing supply needed)
  • Colored Pencils (16-24 pk.)
  • 1 package loose-leaf paper (wide-ruled)
  • 2 boxes of Kleenex
  • Clorox wipes
  • Old T-shirt for Art Smock: (student’s full name written on inside tag)
  • 1 set of headphones or earbuds: (placed in Ziploc bag with full name)

    Assignment planners will be provided on the first day of school.
