Superintendent Corr receives School Administrator Award in Character Education

The North Colonie Central School District is proud to announce that Superintendent Joseph Corr is the recipient of the School Administrator Award in Character Education, given by The Academy for Character Education at The Sage Colleges. This award recognizes Superintendent Corr for his leadership, service, and excellent performance, as well as the distinction he holds with his peers in accordance with the highest standards of good character.

“Your leadership, positive actions, and quest for excellence serve as a role model and attest to the positive influence you have in nurturing civility in our schools and positive character development in our community,” said John Walko, the Director of the Academy for Character Education. “Your efforts are very much appreciated throughout New York State.”

Superintendent Corr will be honored at the 12th annual Champions of Character Award Banquet on April 15 at the Franklin Plaza in Troy. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will be the honorary chair of the event.
