21 Shaker Junior High School students earned top scores on the National French Exam.

French IR 8th grade students in Madame Blau and Madame Tucci’s classes took the National French Exam in March.  The Grand Concours is developed annually by the American Association of Teachers of French. Over 18,000 students took the exam in Level 1 nationwide, which includes multiple-choice questions covering listening comprehension, vocabulary and grammar in context, and reading comprehension. Those whose scores represent the top scores nationally are considered Lauréats Nationaux, and receive a certificate and a prestigious national gold, silver or bronze award. 21 Shaker Junior High School students earned this achievement! In addition, Aarya Kaushik achieved a perfect score on the exam and earned a Platinum medal.
