Six inducted into Athletic Department Hall of Fame

On Saturday, Oct. 10, the All-Sports Booster Club welcomed six people into the Shaker High School Athletic Department Hall of Fame during a ceremony at The Century House in Latham.

Tony Wise, Class of 1969: Football, basketball
Abigail Rehfuss, Class of 2007: Soccer, Lacrosse
Caroline Rehfuss, Class of 2009: Swimming, Lacrosse
Frank Dyer, Class of 2010: Swimming
Edward Monthie: Coach, Physical Education Teacher
Barbara Callahan: Physical Education Secretary

“Our six inductees are all outstanding individuals who have contributed greatly to Shaker Athletics,” said Ed Dopp, North Colonie’s Director of Health, Physical Education & Athletics. “They have helped to raise the bar and set high expectations for all who follow. We are proud and honored to have Ned, Frankie, Abby, Caroline, Tony and Barb as members of our Shaker All Sport Booster Club.”
