Family Connection by Naviance
Shaker High School proudly offers
Family Connection by Naviance, a comprehensive website that
gives students an opportunity to investigate, research,
track and plan for future careers and the college admissions
process. Students receive log-on information in February of
9th Grade. If you do not have your log-on information,
please stop into the Guidance Office today!
North Colonie Schools - District Website
The North Colonie District website
offers a link to Shaker High School. The Shaker High School
site features a wealth of information ranging from a pdf
version of the Guide to Program Planning (includes course
descriptions for every course offered at the High School),
to a link to Naviance.
Peterson’s Education Center
Peterson’s includes information about
educational programs at all levels and provides searchable
databases of colleges and academic programs.
Princeton Review Online
This extensive college and career
information site includes a comprehensive college search
engine.
NCAA Guide for College-Bound Student Athlete
Important information and registration
materials for students interested in participating in

This comprehensive site provides links to numerous job
opportunities. Use it to research careers, create and post
resumes, search for specific jobs by location, agency or
position, and examine job market information such as
