Family Connection by Naviance

 

Shaker High School proudly offers Family Connection by Naviance, a comprehensive website that gives students an opportunity to investigate, research, track and plan for future careers and the college admissions process. Students receive log-on information in February of 9th Grade. If you do not have your log-on information, please stop into the Guidance Office today!

 

North Colonie Schools - District Website

 

The North Colonie District website offers a link to Shaker High School. The Shaker High School site features a wealth of information ranging from a pdf version of the Guide to Program Planning (includes course descriptions for every course offered at the High School), to a link to Naviance.

 

Peterson’s Education Center

Peterson’s includes information about educational programs at all levels and provides searchable databases of colleges and academic programs.

Princeton Review Online

This extensive college and career information site includes a comprehensive college search engine.

NCAA Guide for College-Bound Student Athlete

Important information and registration materials for students interested in participating in
Division I or II college athletics.

Families may use this site to complete and submit directly over the Internet the FAFSA Application for Federal Student Aid.

CSS Profile - Required by some colleges

Provides colleges with more detailed information than appears on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

FinAid: The Financial Aid Information Page
