Seniors
If you are planning to
enroll in college as a freshman during the 2010-2011
academic year and wish to participate in Division I or
Division II sports, you must be certified by the NCAA
Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse. To register, prospective
student-athletes should access the registration materials by
visiting the clearinghouse Web site at
www.eligibilitycenter.org. From the home page, the
prospect should click on “Prospective Student –Athletes,”
which will link you to the necessary information. Please be
sure to check Shaker High School’s list of approved core
courses. The NCAA does not always award the same credits for
classes that the school does. It is important to review this
information to ensure that you are meeting eligibility
guidelines.
