2012 SHS graduation information

Graduation Rehearsal

There is a mandatory Graduation Rehearsal on Friday, June 22nd from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. at the University at Albany SEFCU Arena.

 

Caps and gowns are not needed for rehearsal. As per Board of Education policy, all graduating seniors must attend if they plan to participate in the commencement program. Arrange work or appointments after 3:30 p.m. Seniors may not leave rehearsal early.

 

Commencement Ceremony

The Commencement Ceremony is on Saturday, June 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at the University at Albany SEFCU Arena. Graduating Seniors should arrive no later than 9:00. Clothing should be appropriate for the occasion. Caps and gowns should be carried.

 

Note: There are no tickets. Open seating.

 

There will be a shuttle bus from the Dutch Quad parking lot to the SEFCU Arena beginning at 8:30 a.m. and continuing back and forth until 2:30 p.m.

 

Graduation Photographs

A professional photographer will be taking pictures during the commencement ceremony.
